How does the process work?
Once you get in touch, we will arrange a time to have a brief telephone conversation. This is an opportunity for you to talk about what you would like help with, ask questions and for us to see if we could be a good fit.
Following this, if we agree to proceed, we will discuss which clinicians are available to meet with you and start the process of booking your first appointment.
How much does it cost?
A 50 minute session costs £120. If you are self-funding the sessions (rather than using health insurance) , there is a £50 non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee to pay. The remaining cost of the session fee is payable before your first appointment. If you miss this first appointment, the £50 booking fee is forfeit.
Health insurance clients do not need to pay the booking fee.
What happens after I have paid the booking fee?
Upon payment of the booking fee, the initial appointment is confirmed and additional paperwork will be sent to you to complete and return prior to the first appointment.
What happens at my first appointment
At the initial appointments, your clinician will ask a series of questions to help them gain a fuller picture of the issue you are seeking help with. This will remain confidential unless they have concerns for your safety or the safety of someone else. This helps them to see if they are a good fit for you in terms of their experience and your needs. They will make recommendations for therapy/support at the end of the assessment.
If you are both happy to proceed you will then agree subsequent appointments and a care plan.
It is important that you are open with your clinician if you have questions or concerns about any aspect of your care, so they can ensure they are supporting you appropriately.
